About the team
Portfolio & Performance Office guides teams and individuals in how to best utilize portfolio governance to make sure that initiatives are properly organized with an end-to-end journey (from funnel to done phase). We ensure that projects are aligned with our corporate strategy, as we focus on maximizing business value, bringing transparency, creating awareness and supporting leadership in decision-making.
These will be your tasks and responsibilities:
Support our Portfolio Managers with their regular tasks (e.g. portfolio review for the Board of Management, visualization of the portfolio and resource management)
Support Project teams by maintaining project-related documentation (e.g. project hypothesis, charter, resources, status updates)
Document and follow up on important project related actions and decisions from meetings
Suggesting improvements for our current processes and procedures
Other similar tasks as per the request of the supervisor
Learning about best-in-class portfolio and resource management practices
Experience in supporting strategic projects of Mercedes-Benz
Application of learned concepts in practical day-to-day activities
Communication & engagement with various stakeholder
This is what we are looking for:
Good communication skills in English (verbal & written)
Interested in project and portfolio management
Basic understanding of project management methodologies
Being able to structure topics and connect dots to the big picture
Efficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT), MS SharePoint, Jira/Confluence (would be an advantage)
Quick learner & self-starter
Self-aware
Confident to speak up and follow up tasks with colleagues
Proactive in looking for work and how to approach it

We offer you an internship in a multicultural, dynamic, and informal international working environment.
5-6 months full-time internship, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Internship compensation, € 800,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week.
