About the team
We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our IT Process & Data Governance team.In this role, you will focus on improving how Agile teams and our global Agile Release Train (ART) operate. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, teams, and ART stakeholders to strengthen our Agile maturity and enable teams to perform at their best. What makes this internship exciting?

What you will learn
  • Hands-on experience with Agile ways of working in a scaled environment (SAFe / ART)
  • How to analyze team dynamics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change
  • Practical experience with tooling such as Jira and process optimization techniques
  • How to bridge team-level insights with organization-level improvements
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional IT organizatio
These will be your tasks and responsibilities:
Depending on your interests and skills, you will work on one or more of the following areas: Agile Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in and support ceremonies across multiple Agile teams to observe ways of working and identify best practices
  • Engage with Scrum Masters to understand team challenges and capture insights in a structured, reusable format
  • Analyze recurring challenges and propose both short-term improvements and longer-term structural solutions
Tooling & Process Optimization
  • Partner with Scrum Masters to review Jira usage and identify opportunities for automation and simplification
  • Support optimization of tools and workflows to better enable Agile teams
  • Contribute to improving transparency, efficiency, and consistency in team operations
Retrospectives & Team Effectiveness
  • Design and build a reusable Retrospective toolbox with facilitation templates and practical techniques
  • Enable Scrum Masters to run more effective, engaging retrospectives
  • Support teams in driving continuous improvement through structured reflection
Agile Release Train (ART) Improvement
  • Participate in ART-level events to gain a strong understanding of end-to-end processes
  • Provide observations and concrete improvement proposals to optimize ART-level ways of working
  • Translate recurring team- and ART-level insights into actionable backlog items e.g. SOT (Scrum Optimization Team) backlog.
  • Support implementation and follow-up of selected improvement initiatives
This is what we are looking for:
  • Student in Business IT, Computer Science, Information Management, Management Science or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in processes, Agile, and ways of working
  • Interest in Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe)
  • Able to observe team dynamics, identify patterns, and translate them into structured insights and improvements
  • Proactive, structured, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • 4-6 months full-time internship, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working possible.
  • Internship compensation, € 800,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week.
