About the team
We are looking for a motivated Data & Technology Intern to join our IT Performance & Data Management team.In this role, you will work at the intersection of Data Engineering, Data Quality, and FinOps, contributing to the design and improvement of our data ecosystem and helping to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective data & IT solutions. 
These will be your tasks and responsibilities:
Depending on your interests and skills, you will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
 Data Engineering
  • Support the design and optimization of data pipelines and ETL processes;
  • Work with modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks);
  • Help structure and prepare data for analytics and reporting.
 Data Quality
  • Improve our data quality checks and monitoring frameworks;
  • Identify, analyze, and help resolve data issues and inconsistencies;
  • Contribute to improving data trust and governance practices.
 FinOps & Data Cost Optimization
  • Analyze, monitor data platform and cloud usage costs;
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost transparency;
  • Support initiatives to balance performance, scalability and cost;
  • Support the Design and Development of a FinOps dashboard and reporting solution.
 What you will learn?
  • Hands-on experience with the full data lifecycle (ETL ? BI ? governance ? cost management);
  • Practical skills in SQL, Python and modern cloud data tools;
  • How to design and implement data quality and monitoring practices in real environments;
  • Exposure to FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies;
  • Experience working in Agile teams within a global organization.

This is what we are looking for:
  • Student in Data Engineering, Data Science & AI, Computer Science, Information Management or similar
  • Strong analytical mindset and interest in data & technology
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or data-related tools
  • Interest in data quality, cloud platforms, or cost optimization
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Team player with good communication skills

We offer you an internship in a multicultural, dynamic, and informal international working environment:
  • 5-6 months full-time internship, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (onsite at the office);
  • Internship compensation, € 800,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week;
  • Starting date: Februay / March 2027
